Every two years, a panel of more than 200 experienced beer professionals gather to taste and judge beer from nearly 100 style categories, awarding the best of the best in each category. This is the World Beer Cup.
The World Beer Cup, long considered the Olympics of Beer Competitions, was created in 1996 by the Brewers Association to “celebrate the art and science of brewing.” The Cup not only celebrates traditional and new styles of beer from around the world, but also educates consumers about the ever-evolving beer industry and encourages brewing innovation.
