Calypso Lemonades

The original, and now famous, Calypso Lemonade recipe was created in 1985 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by the owner of the King Juice Company.

The idea was simple – make an authentic, delicious lemonade made with real lemons and real sugar.  We made the lemonade in small batches and delivered it locally on the company truck.

Through the years, our Original Lemonade grew in popularity.  Bolstered by the response to our lemonade recipe, and inspired by the fruits, flavors and spirit of The Islands, our Original Lemonade was given the name Calypso and grew into four lemonade blends.

Icelandic Glacial

In order to help preserve the beautiful majestic landscape of Iceland, Icelandic Glacial™ is sourced from the naturally replenishing underground Ölfus Spring.

The legendary Ölfus Spring was forged during a massive volcanic eruption over 5,000 years ago. Shielded by an impenetrable layer of lava rock and surrounded by a 128,000 acre exclusion zone, the Spring is constantly replenished by a gradual filtration of rainfall and snowmelt over uninhabited and untouched lava fields.

With over 900,000 cubic meters of water overflowing from the Ölfus Spring into the ocean every day, it’s one of the world’s largest natural springs.

All About Pale Ales

The Pale Ale is a hoppy style of beer that’s one step down from IPAs, one step up from Amber Ales.

Pale ale is named because brewers use a larger proportion of hops than most beers, which results in a lighter color, and less wheat. It is synonymously referred to as a bitter ale. There are many types of pale ale, including Amber Ale, India Pale Ale, Golden Ale, and English Bitter, but for now I’d like to present some American Pale Ales.

Kona Brewing Company from Hawaii has an island-style pale ale called Fire Rock that has been a medal winner at numerous beer competitions over the years,
