This month we introduce a new brewery to our lineup from Charlottesville, VA. Starr Hill Brewing is seasoned in the art of fine beer, and it is with great pleasure that we now provide our Athens and Northeast Georgia customers with the following brews from their year-round offerings:
Northern Lights IPA is “a classic American-style India Pale Ale” at 6.5%, characterized by a strong hop flavor and citrusy floral aroma.
Grateful Pale Ale is a “fresh spin on the American Pale Ale tradition.” A session brew at 4.7%, Gatreful has a citrusy, hoppy flavor with a light body and resinous aroma.
The Love is “an unfiltered German hefeweizen,” 4.6%, and is distinguished by a light body and hints of banana and clove.
Starr Hill Brewing has had strong ties to the music industry since its inception in the 1990s. Head brewer Mark Thompson enjoys pairing great beer with great music, and names many of his brews in tribute to musicians, songs, and music festivals.
Currently, Starr Hill brews are available on draft only. Packaged beer, in six-pack 12oz bottles as well as 22oz specialty bombers, will be available in early March, with more beers being introduced throughout the year such as Double Platinum, Starr Pils, Little Red RooStarr and GAVA. Welcome, Starr Hill!
