The event that people around the country have been enjoying for years has made its way to Georgia! On Saturday, March 3, Beer, Bourbon and BBQ takes place at Atlantic Station for the first time. Tickets are available through the website for regular session admission, VIP admission and designated drivers.
The VIP session starts at noon and includes, in addition to tasting all the delicious beers and bourbons in attendance and a souvenir tasting glass, gourmet bacon and whole hog sampling! It’s limited to 1,000 guests and features more than ten tasting stations featuring bacon dishes from local restaurants and from around the country. VIP bathrooms and separate VIP tasting areas are also provided.
The regular session begins at 2pm and included unlimited beer and bourbon tastings. There will be 40 bourbons and 60 beers on tap from around the world to enjoy (but please don’t overdo it). “Rare bourbon” booths will have exclusive opportunities to try bourbon you can’t find anywhere else! Pulled pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, sausage and more will be available from vendors. Seminars in the “tasting theater” from master distillers, brewmasters and pit masters will teach you all you need to know! On stage you’ll experience live music, including Whiskey Gentry, and contests for “Best Beer Belly” and more.
Here’s the drink menu! Lazy Magnolia, Shock Top, Magic Hat, Landshark, Krombacher, Yuengling and Kona will be on tap in addition to SO MUCH MORE. Make sure you don’t overdo it! Sodas and water will also be available.
If you want to join me on Saturday, please make sure to arrange for safe designated transportation! The MARTA train is conveniently located at Atlantic Station, and designated driver tickets are available online or at the door.
